Hey everyone we’re stoked to be playing some upcoming shows in Oregon. As a band, we’re all about making music that moves people and brings them together. We love connecting with our audience through our live performances, and we can’t wait to share our music with you.

We’ll be playing at the Infinity Room in Salem on March 5th with Nathan Jr. and headliner Down Time. We’re looking forward to bringing our unique sound to the stage and sharing the night with other talented artists. Come hang out with us and enjoy some good vibes! Tickets are just $10.

We’re also excited to perform at Common Fields in Corvallis on April 6th. This is a free show, and we’ll be playing in a fun outdoor atmosphere with food trucks and drinks. It’s going to be a great night of music and fun, so bring your friends and let’s make some memories!

Last but not least, we’re honored to be invited back to the SAGE Concert Series at Starker Arts Park in Corvallis on August 3rd. This is an amazing venue, and we can’t wait to play for you all again. Bring your picnic blanket and dancing shoes for a night of great music under the stars.

But that’s not all – we’re also in the process of booking more shows throughout the year, including a potential small summer tour. We’re excited to connect with new audiences and share our music with even more people. Keep an eye on our website and social media for updates on our future shows and tour dates.

New Music Video - Good Things To Last

| by The Weekend Gardeners

We are thrilled to announce the release of our new music video for “Good Things To Last” from our album “Treasures That We Seek”! The video was directed and produced by our friend Gavin Knox and stars Jordan Prince as the spritely young man. The video follows the story of a spritely young man who awakens with the dawn to go for a brisk jaunt. He encounters familiar faces and one confused soul who is attempting to plug a house lamp into a bush, leading to a surprising and unexpected ending in a game of chess.

The song “Good Things To Last” is a reflection on the importance of cherishing the good things in life and not taking them for granted. The lyrics, written by Ida Jane Wilke, express the desire to hold onto the good things forever, but also the realization that everything will pass.

The vocals by Ida Jane Wilke, the bass by Kevin Nichols, the mandolin and vocal harmonies by Ryan Hanson, and the drums by Shawn Crawford, all recorded, mixed, and mastered by Sam Lay at Anjuna Recording Studio, come together to create a powerful and emotional performance that perfectly complements the message of the song.

We hope that the music video, directed and produced by Gavin Knox and starring Jordan Prince, will resonate with our fans and that they will enjoy it as much as we do. The visual storytelling and creative use of imagery perfectly captures the message and meaning of the song.

Lyrics

I want to walk into the dark into the great unknown
Past the city to the hills
Out from the fog I will walk into the trees
Until there is no sign on me that you can see

I keep my hands in the pocket of your coat
And as I whisper in the cold my soul to keep
Send my mother the letter that I wrote
Saying that I won't be back home outside the week

No street lights to adjust our eyes to
Just a friend beside who agrees
          That we'd never mind
          If we ever find
The lessons or the treasures that we seek

There was a care, there was a dream
We went out searching for it in the night
To regain again, the stolen things
To search for the meaning in the meaningless plight

No street lights to adjust our eyes to
Just a friend beside who agrees
          That we'd never mind
          If we ever find
The lessons or the treasures that we seek

No street lights to adjust our eyes to
Just a friend beside who agrees
          That we'd never mind
          If we ever find
The lessons or the treasures that we seek

New Music Video – Sunken Secrets

We are excited to announce the release of our new music video for “Sunken Secrets”! This song, along with three others, will be on our upcoming EP. The music video is a thought-provoking journey filled with psychedelic effects, featuring Ida Jane, Shawn, Ryan and Kevin.

The video was filmed by Cassandra Johnston & Shawn Crawford (drummer for Ida Jane & The Weekend Gardeners) and directed and edited by Shawn Crawford at BraveNewDesign.com. The lyrics for the song, written by Ida Jane Wilke, are a reflection on the feelings of isolation and longing for deeper connection.
